The focus of this recording is Jimmy Rowles, not only as pianist, but also as arranger. Half of the arrangements are by Bill Holman and the other half are by Jimmy Rowles. Bill Holman and Herb Geller double on baritone in addition to their usual saxes and do a superb job of it. Lee Katzman and Bob Enevoldsen also provide memorable solos.
