This excellent stereo recording was originally produced by Bill Holman and engineered by Bones Howe and Wally Heider. It is being made available on compact disc in pristine unprocessed stereo. One of the original members of Harry Babasin's Jazzpickers, Dempsey Wright was an excellent string player doubling on guitar and violin. On this recording, he plays guitar exclusively, and will be a welcome discovery for appreciators of the guitar styles of Barney Kessel, Howard Robert and other Los Angeles based stylists of the late 1950's.
